Get Ready to Make A Joyful Noise

Sunday, January 29  

Crack open that piggy bank, check down behind the sofa cushions, and empty your pockets and purse, because January has five Sundays and on the fifth Sundays is when our children take up a second collection in pots, pans, and bowls to make a joyful noise for our benevolence fund. 

The change we collect goes to buying bus passes to the 50 or so homeless and needy people who come to our door every Wednesday morning, as well as helping our congregants who find themselves with big bills and little cash.

Your spare change is especially important just now:  every penny, nickel, dime, and quarter--or even that silent paper money--makes a big difference.

Wine, Art & Heart Fund-raiser Planned 

Saturday, February 11, 7:00-10:00 pm, Morean Arts Center for Clay, 420 22nd St. South, St. Petersburg  

In February, Wine, Art & Heart 2012, will pull into the Morean Arts Center for Clay, an innovative venue for potters and all things clay created in the renovated historic Seaboard train freight station. 

Come enjoy the arty atmosphere, best of small vineyard wines from around the world (more than 60 types), delicious foods and desserts, and a silent auction featuring specially selected works by local artists. Tickets are $50/individual and $100/VIP affording you a complimentary wine glass, tray, and goodie bag, as well as the delightful and delicious samplings of local restuarnts' food and wine (provided by Preferred Brands, Inc.). 

Wine, Art & Heart's profits support Suncoast Hospice and KOP MCC.  So, gather up your friends and come enjoy a fabulous night for a worthy cause.
