King of Peace is a team-based church striving to involve at least 75% of members in active, soul-building ministry teams — from the Celebration Choir, to the Human Outreach Team to the Hosts and Greeters. There’s sure to be a ministry team to match your interests and gifts, literally hundreds of opportunities to make a difference by volunteering and caring for our community.

| Archivist Team Collects, organizes and displays historical information about King of Peace MCC. |
| ASL/Deaf Team Interprets Worship Services and other events for the deaf. This team has recently expanded its scope to include sign language classes and social events. |
| AV and Multimedia Teams Run sound, lights and projection equipment during services and special events. |

| Benevolence Fund Outreach funded through the generosity of church members and friends. Emergency needs are considered and funded and/or referred to appropriate agencies. |
| Board of Directors Among other tasks, board members develop and review the fiscal direction of the church. |
| Building Team Oversees maintenance and care of our church building and grounds. |
| Care Card Team Distributes greeting cards for times of celebration, comfort or concern. |
| Children's Ministry Team Plans and conducts Children's Church activities. |
| Congregational Care Provides hospital and home visits for those in need. |
| Emergency Medicine Fund Considers, on a case by case basis, the purchase of emergency prescription drugs. |
