Membership

Take the next step to joining your faith community!

Learn about King of Peace MCC at our two discipleship (membership) classes. We offer these classes on an ongoing basis the first Sunday of each month in room 329. Each class begins following service (approximately 11:30 am) and lasts about an hour.

During discipleship classes you will be introduced to our history, our Guiding Documents, and the Metropolitan Community Church (MCC) family. You'll have the opportunity to explore your spiritual gifts and share information about yourself. After completing the two classes, you may participate in Baptism and the Rite of Membership.

• You may attend discipleship classes to find out more about our church. You're under no obligation to join!

• You must be a King of Peace MCC member to vote for or hold an elected position in the church: board member or lay delegate.

• King of Peace MCC holds an annual congregational meeting at which members vote to approve the budget, elect board members and delegates, and attend to other church business.
