Membership

Take the next step to joining your faith community!

Learn about King of Peace at our membership classes. King of Peace offers classes on an ongoing basis the first Sunday of each month in room 329. Each class begins at 11:30 and lasts approximately an hour and a half.

During membership classes you will be introduced to the King of Peace, its Guiding Documents, and the Metropolitan Community Church family. You'll have the opportunity to explore your spiritual gifts and share information about yourself. After completion of the classes, you may participate in Baptism and the Rite of Membership.

• You may attend membership classes to find out more about our church. You're under no obligation to join!

• You must be a King of Peace member to vote for or hold an elected position in the church -- board member or lay delegate.

• Generally the church holds two congregational meetings each year. One to vote for the budget, and one to elect board members and delegates. All are welcome to attend; church members may vote.
