Special Services

Celebrate good times and commemorate special moments at King of Peace. Our clergy perform weddings, holy unions, baptisms and memorials. The sanctuary and social hall are available for rent at modest fees. Please call the church office for details 727-323-5857.

About Holy Unions

In the Universal Fellowship of Metropolitan Community Churches, the Rite of Holy Union is the spiritual joining of two persons in a fitting manner by a duly authorized clergy person. A Holy Union is a service of celebration. It is a time of asking God's blessing on your relationship as well as an opportunity for family and friends to witness and share in your vows of commitment to one another.

At King of Peace MCC, we affirm and celebrate relationships as quoted in Genesis 2:18: "It is not good for any person to be alone. I will make a suitable helper." We invite you to share with us the blessing of your relationship by celebrating it here with us.
